T. Rowe Price Appoints Veiel President and Assigns Lee to Head Global Multi-Asset

Eric Veiel will become president and co-head of Global Investments with Sébastien Page as co-head and chief investment officer effective June 1, while Wyatt Lee will lead Global Multi-Asset from October 1. The firm oversees $1.83 trillion in client assets as of April 30, 2026.

1. Executive Appointments

Eric Veiel will assume the role of president and co-head of Global Investments and chief investment officer effective June 1, retaining a leadership position within the Investments organization. Sébastien Page will become co-head of Global Investments and CIO alongside Veiel, continuing as acting head of Global Multi-Asset through September 30.

2. Global Multi-Asset Leadership

Wyatt Lee has been named head of Global Multi-Asset effective October 1, while maintaining his position as head of Target Date Strategies and co-portfolio manager of the firm's target date portfolios. Lee will join the Management Committee on January 1, 2027, ensuring continuity for one of the firm's key retirement franchises.

3. Reporting Structure and Committee Roles

All appointees will report directly to Rob Sharps, who remains chair and chief executive officer. Veiel and Page will immediately join the Management Committee, with Lee scheduled to join at the start of 2027.

4. Firm Size and Strategic Focus

T. Rowe Price manages $1.83 trillion in client assets as of April 30, 2026, approximately two-thirds of which are retirement-related. The leadership realignment is designed to accelerate adoption of innovative technologies and deepen the firm's focus on delivering client outcomes.
