TRGP•Targa appoints Branstetter as CFO in management reshuffle
Pipeline operator Targa Resources said on Tuesday it appointed insider Benjamin Branstetter as chief financial officer, succeeding retiring finance chief William Byers, effective September 1, 2026.
The appointment is part of a broader management reshuffle that includes the hiring of former Enterprise Products Partners executive Brent Secrest to succeed Branstetter as president of logistics and transportation.
Branstetter, who joined Targa in 2017, has held leadership roles across the company's commercial, optimization and corporate development functions.
Byers, who has served as Targa's CFO for the last two years, will retire and transition to an advisory role through the end of 2026 to support the leadership handover.
