Tokyo Electron released a transcript of its Q1 FY2027 (April–June 2026) financial announcement attended by President and CEO Toshiki Kawai and CFO Hiroshi Kawamoto.
Q1 net sales were JPY 732.3 billion; operating income was JPY 211.4 billion; operating margin was 28.9%; both sales and gross profit reached record highs.
Net income attributable to owners fell 23.3% QoQ to JPY 164.3 billion due to prior-quarter gains from selling strategic shareholdings.
H1 forecast was raised to net sales of JPY 1.62 trillion and operating income of JPY 458 billion; Q2 net sales are expected at a record JPY 708.7 billion.
The interim dividend forecast was lifted to JPY 384 per share; the share repurchase program of up to JPY 150 billion continues; a 5-for-1 stock split is set for Oct. 1, 2026.
