Teledyne Technologies reported Teledyne Qioptiq received Germany’s first option order for PHOENIX-XR cooled thermal weapon sights worth over $21 million.
The order falls under a framework agreement valued at up to $175 million.
Completion would lift cumulative deliveries to more than 1,000 PHOENIX-XR units to Germany’s Ministry of Defence.
Deliveries are set to start early next year, with completion tied to the Bundeswehr’s deployment schedule.
