Telesat partnered with Farcast to demonstrate electronically steered antenna technology for the planned Telesat Lightspeed LEO broadband network.
The collaboration completed an over-the-air test using Telesat’s LEO 3 satellite, maintaining end-to-end connectivity with performance near predicted link budgets.
Next phase focuses on user terminal development
The milestone supports the next phase: development of a fully integrated Lightspeed user terminal combining Farcast’s antenna platform with the Lightspeed modem.
