Telix Signs MOU with United Imaging to Co-Develop Theranostics for Pixclara F-18
TLX•Telix Pharmaceuticals and United Imaging signed an MOU to integrate Telix’s molecular imaging portfolio with United Imaging’s scanner platforms and AI for co-developing theranostic workflows in the U.S. The partnership will optimize scanning protocols and pilot Pixclara® Floretyrosine F-18 (TLX101-Px).
1. MOU for Theranostic Collaboration
Telix and United Imaging formalized a memorandum of understanding to evaluate integrating Telix’s radiopharmaceuticals with United Imaging’s advanced scanners, software and AI capabilities. The companies aim to co-develop standardized theranostic workflows that align imaging acquisition, connectivity and clinical protocols across U.S. sites.
2. Focus on TLX101-Px Optimization
Initial collaboration centers on Pixclara® Floretyrosine F-18 (TLX101-Px), targeting scanning protocol optimization, workflow support tool development and pilot clinical applications. TLX101-Px has FDA Fast Track and Orphan Drug designations, with its NDA under review and a PDUFA goal date of September 11, 2026.
3. Strategic Implications
Combining imaging systems with molecular agents and AI-driven decision support aims to enhance protocol consistency, treatment planning and longitudinal patient management. Future phases may include additional Telix products and market expansions, subject to mutual agreement and validation outcomes.
