Telkom Indonesia says Telkom Hub reaches net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions

PT Telkom Indonesia said its Telkom Hub reached net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions, supporting its 2060 net-zero target.

Recognition followed the use of Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) and greenhouse-gas reduction certificates to cut Scope 2 emissions.

TelkomGroup set Scope 1 and 2 reduction milestones of 20% by 2030, 40% by 2040, and 70% by 2050.

Telkom bought 45,407 hydropower RECs, estimated to reduce emissions by 42,425.7 tons of CO2e.

Sixty-six points of presence used 21% renewable energy, cited as part of a broader low-carbon operations push.
