1.6 Tb/s trial over Melbourne-Sydney route
- Telstra worked with Ciena to transmit 1.6 Tb/s over roughly 1,100 km between Melbourne and Sydney on a live network.
- The trial carried four 400GbE services over a single wavelength without regeneration, using L-band spectrum to extend beyond C-band capacity.
