TELUS and AST SpaceMobile to Deliver Nationwide Satellite Broadband in Canada
AST SpaceMobile signed an agreement with TELUS to deliver space-based cellular broadband across Canada using AST’s LEO satellite network. The collaboration aims to extend commercial and emergency mobile services to rural, remote and underserved regions nationwide.
1. National Connectivity Partnership
AST SpaceMobile has partnered with TELUS to integrate its low-Earth orbit satellite network into TELUS’s cellular infrastructure, enabling space-based broadband services across Canada. The alliance targets commercial subscribers as well as public safety and emergency response use cases, focusing on regions without reliable terrestrial coverage.
