TU•Q2 2026 results pressured by TELUS Digital decline
For Q2 2026, operating revenues and other income fell 3% to C$4.93 billion, weighed by weaker TELUS Digital external revenue and lower equipment sales.
Adjusted EBITDA slipped 2% to C$1.78 billion as TELUS Digital margin pressure offset flat TTech results and modest TELUS Health growth.
Operating loss widened to C$1.57 billion due to a C$2.14 billion impairment of intangible assets and goodwill tied to the digital experience unit.
Net loss was C$1.83 billion, reflecting the impairment charge and higher financing costs; adjusted net income fell 26% to C$254 million.
The quarterly dividend was reset to C$0.1875 per share from Q3, targeting deleveraging; net debt to EBITDA excluding restructuring was 3.5x.
