TELUS Q2 FY26 net loss widens to C$ 1.83 billion; revenue falls 3% to C$ 4.93 billion

TELUS posted an IFRS net loss of C$ 1.83 billion in Q2 2026, due to a pre-tax, non-cash C$ 2.1 billion TELUS Digital impairment.
Revenue fell 3% to C$ 4.93 billion; adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) slipped 2% to C$ 1.78 billion.
Dividend reset, leverage target and 2026 outlook cut
The quarterly dividend was reset 55% to C$ 0.1875 per share, targeting about C$ 2.7 billion cash savings through 2028; the DRIP discount ends Oct. 1, 2026.
Leverage stood at 3.5x net debt to adjusted EBITDA; the target was reset to about 3.0x or lower by year-end 2028.
2026 guidance was cut to flat to -2% service revenue, -2% to -4% adjusted EBITDA, about C$ 2.6 billion capex, and about C$ 1.8 billion free cash flow.
