Tenaris Q3 net sales rise 4%, beat estimates
TS•Tenaris reported third-quarter net sales of $3.10 billion, up 4% year over year and above the $3 billion consensus estimate. Net income rose 15% to $521 million.
1. Quarterly results
Tenaris’ third-quarter net sales increased 4% year over year to $3.10 billion, beating analyst expectations of $3 billion. Net income rose 15% to $521 million; EBITDA was $756 million and operating income was $598 million.
2. Demand and outlook
Higher North American demand and increased shipments to the Middle East supported sales growth. Improved product mix, operational efficiency and postponed maintenance helped offset higher input costs. Tenaris expects fourth-quarter sales and EBITDA to rise on stronger North American OCTG demand and prices, and says the quarter should establish a new baseline for sales and EBITDA for 2027.
