Tenaris will supply seamless pipes for a 110-kilometer gas export pipeline and a monoethylene glycol pipeline, along with all offshore drilling tubular requirements, for the Cronos development operated by Eni in partnership with TotalEnergies. The project’s plateau production is expected to be approximately 500 million standard cubic feet of gas daily.
Start-up is planned for the first half of 2028. Gas will be transported to Egypt for processing and liquefaction at Damietta LNG, primarily for export to Europe.
