Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company said it declared force majeure between valve sections 313A-403 and 313A-404 on its HC line just south of Avoca, New York, after discovering an anomaly requiring immediate repairs. Personnel are on site developing a repair plan, and work is scheduled to begin October 6, 2026.

The company estimates the work could affect up to 580,000 Dths pathed through MLV 313 HC Zone 4 End (Segment 399 FH).
