Chip-testing equipment vendor Teradyne, which counts Apple as a major smartphone customer, forecasts Q2 revenue of $1.15–1.25 billion, below its Q1 sales of $1.28 billion. Apple will report its quarterly earnings after Thursday’s market close, following Amazon, Meta, Microsoft and Alphabet’s results.

1. Teradyne Q2 Revenue Outlook

Teradyne projected second-quarter revenue between $1.15 billion and $1.25 billion, down from $1.28 billion in the first quarter. The company also forecast adjusted earnings of $1.86–$2.15 per share, compared with $2.56 per share in Q1, reflecting cyclicality in semiconductor test demand.

2. Apple’s Upcoming Earnings

Apple is scheduled to release its quarterly results after Thursday’s close, following earnings from Amazon, Meta, Microsoft and Alphabet. Investors will scrutinize iPhone sales trends, AI-driven services growth and potential supply constraints ahead of the print.

3. Spotify’s Profit Guidance

Spotify projected second-quarter operating income of €630 million, below Wall Street’s €680 million estimate, despite reaching 761 million monthly active users, up 12% year-over-year. The forecast drove a 12.5% drop in Spotify shares, highlighting challenges in balancing user growth with profitability.
