1. Sustainability metrics
Terex’s 2026 Sustainability Report says absolute greenhouse gas emissions rose 18% in 2025, partly reflecting higher global grid carbon intensity. Emissions intensity was 9% below the 2019 baseline, compared with a target reduction of 25% by 2029. Scope 3 emissions totaled 5,571,837 metric tons of CO2 equivalent, with intensity down more than 5% from 2024. On-site renewable energy generation increased 43%, primarily driven by expanded solar capacity, while the total recordable incident rate fell 6% to 1.40 against a year-end 2030 target of 1.33.
