1. Tesla Delivers Record 480,126 Vehicles in Q2
Tesla achieved a record 480,126 vehicle deliveries during the June quarter, marking its strongest delivery performance to date. Growth was fueled by robust orders in Europe and a rebound in China, signaling recovery from previous sales declines.
2. Chinese Suppliers Rally on Delivery Beat
Auto parts makers Ningbo Xusheng, Ningbo Tuopu and Zhejiang Sanhua saw share gains of 5%–9% in mainland trading, while Fuyao Glass advanced 3% in Hong Kong and battery leader CATL added 0.7%. Investors cited the delivery beat as evidence of sustained production and order momentum.
3. Affordable Models and China Production Strengthen Demand
The launch of more budget-friendly Model 3 and Model Y variants helped maintain consumer interest amid rising fuel costs, and increased output of the updated China-built Model Y reinforced the country’s role as a key manufacturing hub.
