Tesla Europe Registrations Jump 46.5% to 10,654 Units in April

1. April EU Registrations Surge
Tesla registrations in the EU climbed 46.5% year-over-year to 10,654 units in April, lifting year-to-date volumes to 89,429 units, up 45.8%. Total passenger car registrations in the EU rose 5.1% to 972,314 units, marking a third consecutive month of growth.
2. EV Segment Expansion
Electric vehicle deliveries across the region jumped 38% in April, with battery-electric cars holding a 19.7% market share and plug-in hybrids accounting for 9.6% of total registrations. In contrast, petrol-powered car registrations fell 17.7% through April, driven by declines in France, Spain, Italy and Germany.
3. Pursuit of FSD Approval
Tesla is seeking regulatory approval for its full self-driving technology in the EU, aiming to enhance its product offering and potentially accelerate future sales growth in the region.
