Filings show Toyota and Stellantis have pulled out of Tesla's EU CO₂ emissions pool for 2026, removing two of the region's largest carbon credit customers.

The exit may reduce Tesla's regulatory credit revenue, as the company reported a $2.7 billion drop in such income following recent fuel economy standard relaxations.

Toyota plans to cut emissions using new EV models like the bZ4X and Urban Cruiser, while Stellantis intends to form an independent carbon credit pool with Leapmotor.
