TSLA•Tesla registrations rose 61.9% in France, 2.2% in Norway and 38.4% in Sweden year over year in September. Across the EU, Britain and the EFTA, registrations rose 43.3% from January to August, compared with 38.8% growth for the broader battery-electric vehicle market.
1. September gains
New Tesla registrations, a proxy for sales, rose year over year in several European markets in September: 61.9% in France, 2.2% in Norway and 38.4% in Sweden.
2. Regional recovery
Tesla registrations across the European Union, Britain and the European Free Trade Association increased 43.3% from January to August, outpacing the broader battery-electric vehicle market’s 38.8% growth. The article said the rebound has been supported by easier year-ago comparisons, higher fuel prices, government incentives and growing consumer interest in electric vehicles. Registration figures from Britain and Germany were due later that week.
