The approval enables Tesla to offer solar generation and battery storage solutions alongside traditional electricity suppliers.

In recent quarters, Tesla's energy generation and storage revenue climbed approximately 25% year-over-year, driven by increased deployments of solar panels and Powerwall batteries. Meanwhile, automotive sales declined roughly 11% over the same period, partially offsetting overall revenue gains from the energy segment.

Tesla continues development on its Optimus humanoid robot, targeting a key milestone within about six months. The project is advancing in partnership with artificial intelligence company xAI, focusing on enhancing the robot's functionality and integration for future commercial use.
