Textron GSE introduces new lithium-electric baggage tractor

Textron Ground Support Equipment introduced the TUG MX4 lithium-electric baggage tractor, targeting higher uptime and longer service life.

The MX4 uses an 80-volt lithium-ion direct-drive system, removing traditional hydraulics to cut maintenance and improve reliability.

Top speed is 15 mph; towing capacity is up to 20,000 lbs at 8 mph on 9% grades, rising to 60,000 lbs on flat ground.
