It also included a US$38 million purchase of majority interests in the 129-room Upper View Regalia Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
1. Acquisition of The Ritz-Carlton Perth
TGE completed the purchase of a 50% interest in The Ritz-Carlton Perth for US$72 million, valuing the waterfront property at US$201 million. The 205-room hotel, located at Elizabeth Quay with river and city skyline views, enhances TGE’s luxury asset base in a high-growth Australian market.
2. Purchase of Upper View Regalia Hotel
The deal included a US$38 million acquisition of super majority stakes in the 129-room Upper View Regalia Hotel in Kuala Lumpur’s commercial district. The property features a rooftop infinity pool and will undergo a comprehensive renovation and AMTD signage installation upon rebranding.
