Profit gains were driven primarily by fair-value recognition of 9BIT tokens received under a cooperation agreement with the 9BIT Foundation.
9BIT token allocations and ecosystem growth
The company received 475 million 9BIT tokens in Q2, lifting six-month cumulative allocations to 1.9 billion tokens.
Cryptocurrency holdings of 347 BTC and 1.9 billion 9BIT tokens were valued at about US$120 million; 9BIT daily trading volume was about US$10 million.
The AI-powered the9bit ecosystem topped 180,000 user-created games; 41 brand partners signed, with in the pipeline.
