1. VIRAGE results published
Theriva Biologics said detailed Phase 2b VIRAGE results for VCN-01 in metastatic pancreatic cancer were published in Nature Medicine after previously being presented. VCN-01 combined with standard gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel showed better patient outcomes than chemotherapy alone, and survival patterns and response timing were consistent with an immune-mediated effect.
2. Further study underway
The Phase 2a VIRAGE2 study is testing more frequent repeat dosing. Initial safety and pharmacodynamic data are expected in Q3 2027.
