The published results showed improved survival-related outcomes with VCN-01 plus standard chemotherapy versus chemotherapy alone. Analyses supported an immune-mediated effect alongside tumor-stroma disruption. A Phase 2a study, VIRAGE2, is testing more frequent repeat dosing; initial pharmacodynamic and safety-tolerability data are expected in Q3 2027.
