Third Coast Bancshares posted Q2 net income of $22 million, lifting diluted EPS to $1.08 from $0.88 in Q1.
Net interest income climbed 12.4% vs. Q1 to $60.3 million as net interest margin widened 16 bps to 3.83%.
Third Coast Commercial Capital assets sold
The company sold substantially all assets of Third Coast Commercial Capital effective June 25, booking a $3.5 million gain with an ongoing revenue-sharing arrangement.
Noninterest income, loans and deposits increased
Noninterest income rose to $7.7 million from $4 million in Q1, driven by a gain on sale of factored receivables.
Gross loans grew 3.5% vs. March 31 to $5.44 billion; deposits increased 2.5% to $5.86 billion.
