Q2 results and updated outlook
Thomson Reuters posted the transcript of its Q2 2026 earnings call attended by CEO Stephen Hasker, CFO Gary Bischoping and IR head Gary Bisbee.
- Raised 2026 outlook for total organic revenue growth to about 8%; lifted Big 3 organic revenue growth view to 9.5%-10%.
- Reported Q2 organic revenue growth of 8%; adjusted EBITDA of $745 million; adjusted EPS of $0.99; and free cash flow of $727 million.
Global Print transaction and margin impact
The company signed a definitive deal with KKR to sell 51% of Global Print for about $500 million and expects the deal to close in Q4. It plans to treat Global Print as a discontinued operation from Q3.
Management said the Global Print deal is expected to add 60-70 basis points to organic revenue growth, with a 20% royalty on JV professional revenue and a margin impact that should be near neutral.
