Thor Industries Forms Two RV Groups to Combine Jayco with Tiffin and Thor Motor Coach with Keystone

THOTHO

Thor Industries splits its North American RV operations into two groups led by Ken Walters—combining Jayco with Tiffin—and Jeff Kime—uniting Thor Motor Coach with Keystone and Dutchmen—to boost operational efficiencies and portfolio focus. Airstream and KZ will remain standalone as the company seeks sourcing, standardization and digital integration synergies.

1. Formation of Two RV Groups

Effective immediately, Thor will organize the majority of its North American RV OEM operations into two groups. The first group unites Jayco, Entegra, Open Range, Heartland and Tiffin under a single operating model led by Ken Walters, while the second group brings Thor Motor Coach, Keystone, Dutchmen and Crossroads together under Jeff Kime.

2. Leadership Assignments

Ken Walters will serve as CEO of the Jayco–Tiffin Group while retaining his role as President of Jayco, and will oversee the search for a new Tiffin president. Jeff Kime will act as CEO of the Thor Motor Coach–Keystone Group, with Troy James appointed COO and Ryan Ellson set to succeed as President of Thor Motor Coach following a transition period; Jeff Runels remains President of Keystone.

3. Synergy and Strategic Benefits

Thor expects to realize structural benefits through strategic sourcing coordination, supplier alignment, operational standardization, brand and portfolio optimization, and enterprise-wide data and digital integration. These measures are designed to drive cost discipline, improve quality and consistency, and enhance capital allocation across its RV brands.

4. Standalone Brands

Airstream and KZ will continue to operate independently while participating in enterprise initiatives. Thor plans to maintain their entrepreneurial autonomy while leveraging collaborative platforms to maximize the value of sourcing, systems integration and brand support.
