Thunder Mountain Gold names exploration chief to advance South Mountain project
THMG•Thunder Mountain Gold appointed Steven Osterberg senior vice president of exploration to advance its South Mountain project in Idaho. The project covers approximately 13,061 acres and has received approximately US$25 million in investment since 2007; Ron Espell stepped down as chief operating officer.
1. Leadership appointment
Thunder Mountain Gold appointed Steven Osterberg senior vice president of exploration, effective immediately. He will oversee exploration strategy, drilling programs and resource growth across the project portfolio.
2. South Mountain project
The project's expanded land position totals approximately 13,061 acres following land purchases, claim staking and a lease. Investment in the polymetallic project totals approximately US$25 million since 2007. Ron Espell stepped down as chief operating officer.
