Thunder Mountain Gold reported early results from its 2026 drilling program at the South Mountain polymetallic project in Idaho.
- Four holes tested the undrilled up-dip extension of the DMEA massive-sulfide zone, hitting skarn alteration with copper, zinc and lead sulfides.
- Key intercept: 22.47 m grading 86 g/t silver and 0.105 g/t gold, including 10.15 m at 141 g/t silver.
- Step-out drilling at the Kentucky Ridge target intersected new mineralization about 250 m west of the resource area; continuity was traced about 80 m.
- The program totals 8,500 feet of diamond drilling aimed at expanding the carbonate replacement deposit resource; multiple assays remain pending.
