Titan reports 25% growth in quarterly consumer business sales
INDA•Titan reported a 25% rise in consumer business sales in the second quarter, driven by demand for jewellery, watches and eyewear. It added 78 stores, bringing its total to 3,758.
1. Business growth
Titan’s jewellery business grew 21% in the July-September quarter, with double-digit growth in average transaction values as gold prices remained high. Watches grew 30% and eyewear 28% year over year. Titan said its jewellery business maintained double-digit growth in North America and that its Gulf Cooperation Council business held up well in a volatile geopolitical environment, with improving growth for Tanishq.
