Torrid posted Q2 net income of $5.2 million, or $0.05 a share, up from $1.6 million a year earlier.
Net sales fell 11.8% to $231.7 million, with comparable sales down 6.3%.
Margins and EBITDA
Gross margin widened 3.1 percentage points to 38.7%, boosted by $11.1 million of IEEPA tariff refunds booked in cost of goods sold.
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) rose to $23.3 million, including an $11.1 million tariff-refund benefit; excluding refunds it was $12.1 million.
