TTE•TotalEnergies reaffirmed its target to cut net operated Scope 1 and 2 emissions 40% by 2030 from 2015 levels. It also targets an 80% reduction in operated methane emissions from 2020 levels by 2030 or sooner.

TotalEnergies reaffirmed its target to cut net operated Scope 1 and 2 emissions 40% by 2030 from 2015 levels. It targets an 80% reduction in operated methane emissions from 2020 levels by 2030 or sooner, and a 25% decline in the life-cycle carbon intensity of energy products sold from 2015 levels by 2030. Its ambition remains carbon neutrality for global operated Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2050.
2. Low-carbon electricity
The company is building a portfolio combining renewable generation with flexible assets to deliver low-carbon electricity around the clock.
