Toyoda Gosei will build a new automotive interior and exterior plant in Maharashtra’s Bidkin Industrial Area, expanding its India footprint.
The investment is set at INR 5.76 billion, targeting higher output for Japanese automakers as India demand shifts toward SUVs.
Operations are planned to start in the first half of 2029, producing large molded parts such as bumpers and instrument panels.
The workforce is projected at about 570 by 2030, taking the group to eight locations in India.
