TPG-backed Waste Eliminator, Liberty Waste name Rich Kang CEO after combination

TPG-backed Waste Eliminator and Liberty Waste Solutions appointed Rich Kang as CEO following their combination under common ownership.

Kang was most recently president and COO of Ruppert Landscape.

He previously spent more than a decade at Republic Services, including as SVP of operations, leading its Environmental Solutions business.

Earlier roles included director of corporate development and strategy at Summit Materials, plus investment banking at Evercore.
