Wall Street's median 12-month price target for TransAct Technologies Inc is $7.00, about 24.8% above its August 10 closing price of $5.61.
Casino review and updated outlook
TransAct launched a strategic review of its casino and gaming business and said it has engaged BofA Securities. No timetable was set for the review.
The company reiterated its 2026 net sales guidance of $55 million to $57 million and raised its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to $1.5 million to $2.0 million.
Management said FST recurring revenue rose 13% year over year, with software revenue up 47% and growth in active BOHA! units expanding the install base. Casino and gaming sales remained strong, though second-quarter sales were reduced by a $1 million tariff surcharge refund; excluding that item, sales would have risen 9% year over year.
Q2 results improve on higher gross profit
TransAct Technologies Inc said preliminary second-quarter net sales rose 1% year over year. The SaaS hardware solutions provider posted a small net loss and improved adjusted EBITDA for the quarter.
The company said gross margin rose to 50.2% from 48.2% a year earlier. Second-quarter sales came in at $13.95 million, compared with the consensus estimate of $13.70 million from one analyst. TransAct reported a net loss, in adjusted EBITDA and a operating loss.
