Transcat acquired Southeastern Biomedical Associates, expanding its biomedical calibration and compliance services footprint across the southeastern US.
The deal closed Aug. 31, 2026, for $12.8 million in cash, subject to customary adjustments and holdbacks.
Southeastern, founded in 1996, is based in Granite Falls, North Carolina, and serves hospital networks and healthcare facilities.
The transaction adds regulated healthcare capabilities aligned with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 service standards.
The acquisition supports Transcat’s strategy to build scale in high cost-of-failure, regulated end markets tied to patient safety and compliance.
