TransDigm completed its purchase of Prince & Izant from Industrial Growth Partners for $1.066 billion, closing the deal on Sept. 28, 2026. Cleveland-based Prince & Izant makes engineered brazing alloys and metal components for mission-critical applications.

2. Seller’s investment

Industrial Growth Partners recapitalized the business in June 2022 and then pursued capacity investment and bolt-on acquisitions.
