RIG•Transocean’s third-quarter 2026 operating and maintenance costs fell to $589 million from $608 million in the second quarter, while total rig operating days declined to 1,856 from 1,922.
Transocean reported third-quarter 2026 operating and maintenance costs of $589 million, down from $608 million in the previous quarter. Ultra-deepwater floater costs decreased to $336 million from $343 million, and harsh-environment floater costs fell to $193 million from $211 million. Other operating and maintenance costs rose to $60 million from $54 million.
Total rig operating days declined to 1,856 from 1,922 in the second quarter.
