TLT•U.S. Treasury yields fall after weak retail sales data
NEW YORK, Aug. 14 (Reuters) - U.S. Treasury yields slid on Friday after data showed U.S. retail sales unexpectedly fell in July, further reducing expectations that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates at its policy meeting next month.
U.S. two-year yields, which are sensitive to the outlook for interest rate moves, fell 1.9 basis points (bps) to 4.121% US2YT=RR. The benchmark 10-year yield was last down at 4.638% US10YT=RR.
