Trekor Metals management says strong copper prices drive record Q3 2026 earnings
TGB•Trekor Metals reported adjusted net income of CAD 54.59 million and adjusted EBITDA of CAD 164.16 million for the third quarter of 2026, both quarterly records. Florence production rose 35% sequentially as operating costs fell to USD 3.54 per pound.
1. Record quarterly earnings
Trekor Metals management attributed stronger third-quarter 2026 earnings to higher copper prices, increased Gibraltar sales volumes and Florence's ramp-up. Adjusted net income rose to CAD 54.59 million from CAD 5.58 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA reached CAD 164.16 million, while net income totaled CAD 33.61 million; both measures surpassed previous quarterly records.
2. Mine operating details
Higher diesel and explosives costs partially offset earnings growth, and more challenging ore affected copper recoveries at Gibraltar. At Florence, copper production increased 35% sequentially as solution flows rose, while operating costs fell to USD 3.54 per pound from USD 4.72.
