Tri-County Financial Group posted Q2 net income of $4.1 million, up 17%, with EPS of $1.73.
Revenue, credit loss expense and balance sheet trends
Net interest income rose 16% to $14.2 million, while non-interest income fell 5% to $4.4 million.
Credit loss expense was $1.1 million, versus a credit loss recovery a year earlier, driven by unfunded commitments and a $1.2 million reserve adjustment.
Loans slipped 1% to $1.29 billion, while nonperforming loans increased 0.17 percentage points to 0.46% of total loans.
Deposits increased to $1.3 billion, brokered deposits declined to about $10 million, and the board declared a $0.28-per-share dividend.
