TriCo Bancshares posted Q2 2026 net income of $34.2 million, up 24.1% from Q2 2025; diluted EPS rose to $1.06 from $0.84.
Net interest income, margin and balance trends
Net interest income (FTE) climbed 2.6% from Q1 to $93.9 million; net interest margin (FTE) widened 0.04 percentage point to 4.11%.
Loan balances increased $242.9 million, up 13.7% annualized from Q1; deposit balances fell $34.8 million, down 1.7% annualized.
The efficiency ratio rose to 56.25% from 54.55%, including $0.9 million of merger-related expenses tied to the proposed First Hawaiian combination.
