Trident Digital Tech Unveils Ghana Digital Tax Platform Aiming for 530,000 MSMEs and $800M Revenue
Trident Digital Tech’s 50/50 joint venture with Aliska and the Ghana Revenue Authority launched its nationwide digital tax platform on June 5, targeting 530,000 MSMEs in the first year. The initiative underpins projected platform revenues of approximately $800 million over five years, driving long-term subscription-based revenues.
1. Nationwide Platform Deployment
On June 5, Trident Digital Tech, through its 50/50 joint venture with Aliska and the Ghana Revenue Authority, began nationwide commercial deployment of its digital tax and MSME formalization platform. The rollout marks the transition from integration and testing into active service delivery, positioning the company at the heart of Ghana’s digital-government modernization.
2. Integrated Tax and Compliance Features
The platform consolidates business registration, accounting, bookkeeping, VAT payment, tax filing, and compliance management into a unified digital ecosystem. This end-to-end solution is designed to streamline administrative workflows for Ghana’s MSMEs, enhance voluntary tax compliance, and accelerate digital adoption across an estimated 2 million small enterprises nationwide.
3. Projected Economics and Expansion Strategy
Trident Aliska Digital Tech aims to onboard 530,000 MSMEs in the first 12 months, with onboarding capacity scaling via a nationwide field-agent network and training programs. The joint venture projects approximately $800 million in platform economics over five years through recurring subscription and transaction-based revenues, setting a blueprint for expansion into additional African markets.
