1. Lease Details and Location
TruGolf Links and regional developer Gio Dinsay secured a lease for a 4,011 sq ft flagship facility at 1137 Old Country Road in Westbury, New York. The site, at the intersection of Old Country Road and Carmen Avenue, offers premium visibility and accessibility in a high-traffic retail corridor.
2. Facility Features and Opening Timeline
The Westbury flagship will house five premium golf simulators alongside an upscale restaurant, full bar and arcade elements designed for both social outings and serious practice. The center is slated to open this fall, targeting golfers and entertainment-seekers with an elevated eatertainment concept.
3. Franchise Model and Expansion Strategy
This location represents TruGolf’s first Long Island installation under its proprietary franchised brick-and-mortar TruGolf Links Centers model. Regional developers secure territories of over one million population, open a flagship unit, then expand via additional owned units or independent franchisees while earning development and royalty fees.
4. Developer Profile and Partnership
Gio Dinsay, owner of more than 20 ‘Within Normal Limits’ Physical Therapy clinics on Long Island, will operate the Westbury center. TruGolf partnered with a national broker to finalize the transaction and will leverage Dinsay’s local network to drive community engagement and franchise growth.
