Truist Foundation Launches $1M+ AI Upskilling Grants with $250K Top Prize
TFC•Truist Foundation and MIT Solve will provide more than $1 million in grants and in-kind services to six nonprofit finalists through a six-month program to upskill adult workers for AI-driven jobs. First-place winners receive $250,000, second-place $150,000, runners-up $25,000 each and an additional $75,000 Community Choice Award.
1. Inspire Awards Challenge Overview
Truist Foundation has launched its fourth Inspire Awards Challenge in collaboration with MIT Solve to identify nonprofit solutions that upskill adult workers for AI-driven job markets, committing over $1 million in grants and in-kind services across regions served by Truist Bank.
2. Six-Month Development Program
Six nonprofit finalists will enter a six-month support program featuring needs assessments, learning modules to refine business plans, and access to resource partners and coaches to help transform their AI training and career navigation ideas into scalable solutions.
3. Grant Awards and Prize Structure
At program conclusion, first-place projects receive $250,000, second-place $150,000, and each runner-up $25,000; a new $75,000 Community Choice Award will also be granted to one finalist regardless of other placements.
