Truist hires Bank of America veteran Shimna Sameer to lead Truist Wealth

Truist named Shimna Sameer head of Truist Wealth, a key wealth-management leadership change aimed at scaling the business.
Sameer most recently led products, solutions, and platforms at Bank of America Private Bank, overseeing digital platforms, strategy, and client experience.
She is set to join in October, reporting to Chief Wholesale Banking Officer Kristin Lesher.
Sameer will be based in New York City, working from Truist’s Hudson Yards offices.
