Truist appoints Sherman to newly created wealth brokerage role
Truist Financial appointed Tory Sherman as Wealth Brokerage national director, a newly created role focused on advancing Truist Wealth’s growth strategy.
Sherman will report to Bryan Cram, overseeing Wealth Brokerage sales and sales support, advisor productivity, client acquisition and revenue growth.
He previously served as EVP and president at Comerica Financial Advisors, leading its national brokerage and wealth advisory business.
Earlier roles included national sales and strategy leader at Comerica, designing enterprise-wide sales strategies and cross-functional partnerships.
His career also includes two decades at Wells Fargo, starting as a financial advisor before moving into market and senior wealth management leadership roles.
