President Donald Trump approved sales of Nvidia's H200 AI GPUs to Chinese cloud providers, unlocking access to a potential $2 billion annual revenue stream. Nvidia also secured a second U.S. export license for H100-series chips, marking its latest milestone toward broader Chinese market penetration.

1. Presidential Approval of H200 GPU Exports

On Thursday, the White House granted final approval for Nvidia to export its latest H200 AI GPUs to approved Chinese cloud service providers. The decision opens a market that was previously restricted, potentially unlocking up to $2 billion in annual sales as data centers across China upgrade AI infrastructure.

2. Additional H100-Series License Milestone

Nvidia also received a second U.S. export license for its H100-series AI chips, following an earlier approval in February. This milestone extends the company's capacity to supply advanced AI hardware to Chinese research institutions and enterprises, reinforcing Nvidia's dominance in high-performance computing and fostering stronger ties with China’s growing AI sector.
